Stephen Kerr Mentor / Scholarship Fund

We dearly miss our friend and fellow potter, Stephen Kerr, for his joie de vivre, his friendly welcomes to students and customers as they came through the door, his teacherly advice to all who would ask, his being the first to know about current events, his wide acquaintanceship with people, his love of delicious food, his artistic sensibilities, and his great orange clothes. Stephen lived his life to the fullest. We have all been inspired by his ways.

All donations to this fund help create community programming as well as aid individual students in need.

Sis Warner Scholarship Fund

In May of 2008, we lost our dear friend, Phyllis Warner. Those of us who were fortunate to know her called her “Sis.” Sis was a life-long “student” of ceramics, who always found time to take a pottery class in her busy life of gathering with friends, caring for those she was closest to, volunteering at the “Thrift Shop,” golfing, spending time at the family farm, and planning the next fishing trip. Not to mention the beautiful scarves she crocheted and the amazing baskets she wove.

We award the Sis Warner Memorial Scholarship to help defray the class tuition cost for enthusiastic students with demonstrated need and a strong desire to begin or continue their education in ceramics.
