NCECA is coming to Detroit in 2026! Yourist Studio Gallery will be represented at NCECA in the Resource area of the main hall. If you know us or if you haven’t yet met us, come on over and meet our team of volunteers. They are happy to share more information about our studio classes and community. Curated by ceramicist Terri Marra alongside ikebana specialists Liz Larwa and Leslie Rosinski. The Scarab Club presents Stems & Vessels, a collaborative exhibition combining ceramic vessels and ikebana, the traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement. This exhibition features work by Darcy Bowden, Tom Phardel, Ryan Torrey, Kate Tremel, and Deb Wood, along with work by other ceramic artists.

Thresholds is a design-focused ceramic exhibition that positions ceramic furniture as a critical mediator in the dialogue between the volume of the human body and architectural space. Artists include Dee Clements, Olivia Cognet, Austin Coudriet, Rachel Heibel, Beth Katleman, Josephine Larsen, Ian McDonald, Abigail Murray, Yuko Nishikawa, Hayden Richer, Kelsie Rudolph, Victoria Shaheen, and Kate Tremel.
